Current Server - ForestRO

A lot of us have currently migrated over to ForestRO, it is a Spanish server, but it's the closest thing to RetRO that is currently out there. We've made a guild called 'Team Retro' there, all are welcome to join (as long as there is room).

Server Website - It's in Spanish... but they're working on an english version.
Client Download Options
Control Panel - You can register your account by clicking the " Nueva Cuenta" link on the right.
[English Patch Download] - Put these files in your RO directory and replace the .dll file and data folder for english text ingame. Big thanks to Lemon (Frosty) for creating this for us. [UPDATED 8/25/12]

ATTENTION: There are still a few minor bugs in the english GRF which Lemon (Frosty) is working out. It is safe to use, but please do not distribute it outside of the guild. Lemon will release an official version on the Forest-RO forums when it's ready.

Kyu, could you add something like: "Not finished but works with some minor bugs, don't spread" after the english grf. I'll post it on forestro forums once all the bugs are fixed, but for now I want it to be just for a closed group (old retroers). I don't want random people posting it there.

Sure thing. I'll update it right now. The only thing that I noticed wrong with it is the emote hotkeys were fixed in the first english version, but now they're broken again (shifted one over to the left). Also, Milly, whoever that is, posted it to the english section of the ForestRO forums, you may want to message her and have it removed for now.

So someone said they removed the altered Cast Circle and Asura Animation, I'd love to get in on that. Also getting rid of the monster talk via monstertalktable.xml didn't really work, so if anyone has any other ideas, please present them

If they removed the altered cast circle and animation, just patch using their patcher? =o english.grf doesnt affect those.

Maybe we should make a new forum with a more strict access for guild use, so we can use fully without having fear of posting guild acc infos and other things.

Great suggestion Drizzt. I have created a sub-forum that only confirmed (non-trial) members of Team Retro have access to. If you can't see it, but think you should, request access to the "Team Retro Members" usergroup and you will either be approved or denied.

If your forum name differs from your in-game name, please make sure to let me know who you are or else you will not be granted access to the group.

I've taken the liberty of adding people that I already know are in Team Retro.

Well, we don't have any blacksmith yet. However, they are sort of obsolete due to Bowling Bash being overpowered here.

We don't have any Super Novice yet either, but there is no SN gear here really.

I just started at ForestRO.

I'm willing to play with whatever class you guys need... I like WoE chars like 100vit trapper, wiz assaulter, monk, hunter status dealer, wiz damage, etc xD

Yeah, I saw that too. Actually forest-ro was still online with a wipe for quite some time as well, although with a very low amount of players as well.
Deano/Andro/Shen/Frosty/Lime/Lars(/Eden? not sure) and I don't know if anyone else are playing some terrible german server: oldschool-ro.
Deano just told me about mob-ro, which is another new spanish EP7 server. I couldn't find out how many people are online or what the rates are and he doesn't know woe times either, so I assume they'll be impossible for EU/SEA once again.
If you want a pre-trans that looks pretty much perfect, check out ragnadventure, but I don't know anyone who plays there because of aforementioned BR-WoE-times.
The biggest chunk of forest-ro people are on oldschool-ro though. I don't play any server myself right now cause all the choices seem terrible and I've lost track of everyone else.

Yeah I dunno, coordinating another big jump seems all but impossible. Who even checks these forums anymore, right?

Anyway, my brother is playing on Mob-RO. I don't think I'll be playing much or at all but apparently it's got 100-150 people at night (86 people right now) so go figure.

Well, this is their forum for mob-ro, because for some reason they need a new forum for every server. Doesn't look like there's too many people switching and the rates don't really appeal to me so meh.

And if you check the memberlist, 6 people were online in the last 30 days
I usually only check it out about every 2 weeks or so myself, cause there's really no reason to.

Yeah agreed. I just had my RO itch of the year so I wanted to see if anyone was doing anything anywhere, ever. Maybe if enough people get on Mob-RO I'll jump in but I doubt it. Kinda busy with work.
